Scentsational: Spring Fragrance Book

Spring has officially sprung on us and what better way to prepare than to pick a signature scent for the season?

Spring scents are fresh, cool and light, not as deep and rich as winter and not as tropical as summer. We have done some searching and found four fragrances to reflect the season from high-end to on a budget!

1) BYREDO – SUNDAZED

This scent is a citrus bomb! Top notes being lemon and mandarin, this perfume is perfectly fresh with hints of sugared florals. The botanical chords of neroli and jasmine reflect the blossoming of nature and life in the springtime. We love the inclusivity of it being both unisex and vegan.

2) MISS DIOR – BLOOMING BOUQUET

This beautiful rosy-floral scent is a cult favourite and should definitely be considered for your Spring roster. The silky fragrance is effortlessly fresh with notes of mandarin and apricot zest with a smooth velvety base of white musk. Miss Dior reflects the elegance and radiance of spring, we advise you wear it during the day as it is perfect for brunch, picnic and museum dates!

3) VALENTINO – BORN IN ROMA DONNA

Still on the theme of Spring florals, this perfume brings a woody depth adding modernity to a feminine fragrance. The top three notes are jasmine, blackcurrant and vanilla bourbon. Born In Roma is a night-time spring scent that lingers and lasts all night, leaving a luxurious, sensuous trail behind.

4) AMALFI SUNRAY – ZARA

A Jo Malone and Zara collaboration is a match made in heaven. This high-street perfume competes with the big hitters as it sprays a light floral scent that packs a punch of bergamot, mandarin and orange blossom. It is not as long-lasting, but this can be undone by layering with similar body butter and oil scents to project the scent more. We suggest the KEM Beauty – The Body Oil which is currently on sale for £15. The Body Oil will give the skin a beautiful glow as well as lock in the Amalfi scent. Both the perfume and body oil combined is an excellent deal for your money and will stretch the longevity of this fragrance.
