The Viral Pink Under-eye: The KEM Way

TikTok has quickly become the go-to place for everything – not just for the things you’re looking for but also for things you didn’t know you needed.

A recent trend that’s gotten everyone’s attention is the undereye blush hack initially introduced by celebrity makeup artist, Painted By Spencer. If you haven’t heard of this beauty hack, allow us to bring you up to speed.

If you have hollow or dark under eyes, you might feel like no matter how full coverage your concealer, foundation or setting powder is they don’t truly offer the coverage you need or worse you’re left with a grey undertone when your makeup is done.

Applying your favourite blush under your eyes along with your concealer or on top creates a radiant colour-correcting effect that cancels out grey shadows that try to ruin the vibe. You can’t use just any blush though. To achieve the viral undereye blush look, your blush needs to be a pink, peachy or coral colour. Another tip: avoid using any glitter or shimmer as they’ll accentuate any pores or fine lines, so keep it matte or creamy.

If this hack is a bit of you, here’s how you can use your favourite KEM products to achieve the look.

Using our “Fiji” powder blush or “Peaches” from our best-selling Aurora palette, both highly pigmented and buildable formulas, you can add a little or a lot and achieve a gorgeous, colourful and seamless finish to your makeup look.
